• download the hp print solutions from the hp website. http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-officejet-pro-8610-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5367603/model/5367606#Z7_3054ICK0K8UDA0AQC11TA930C7 I had an issue as well, once you download their software it troubleshoots. also try to press the WPS button on the back of your home router when looking for a network on the printer.

• Try taking the printer off the network and just use it directly from your computer...

• Check on the HP website to make sure that you have the most recent version of the drivers and software. The version on the CD is most likely out-of-date.

• Download hp assistant. It will do that for u. I have my cd, never used it. What operating system u running

• If you're using a WiFi router, you may need to turn the WiFi button on the printer screen to on and enter the router passcode for the network.
