“How do u scan w/ HP Officejet Pro 8610 on Linux Ubuntu OS? HP Officejet Pro 8610 all in one printer will not let me scan to a computer or network folder using Linux Ubuntu operating system. They say to download software that is not for Linux OS. They said that this printer will work with Linux OS. It does all the other functions with Linux OS just fine (ie. prints, copies, fax, etc.). Does anyone know how to get it to scan to the computer and network folders with Linux OS? Is there a specific scanning software for Linux Ubuntu OS I can download? I already downloaded Linux Ubuntu software for this printer to do all the functions but it won't scan.”
