• It scans to PDF format and if you are connected to your computer with a wireless you can have the scanned PDF directly to your computer. You don't even need a thumb drive or external hard drive to transfer the scanned document.

• Yes, it definitely does. Looks like most standard file formats are supported by the scanner.
