Will it still print if only one cartridge runs out? null

Yes, it will print if one of the cartridges are out.

You can use the black only feature. The printer will replace color with grayscale. The empty cartridges will need to be replaced soon. You would need to have the color cartridge installed to print.

You can tell it to ignore the empty cartridge a few times but once its empty you will have to replace it before printing more. My solution would be to get on instant ink and you will never run out of ink. Not to mention its only like three cents per page.

When a cartridge runs out, it gives you the option of printing without that color. (typically that has been black for us) It is a pain, because you have to answer the question on the touchscreen on the printer, however, it doesn't shut down until you replace it.

It will print in black as long as the black cartridge is okay.
