“I see that I can scan double sided and scan many pages at once BUT will this printer allow me to scan multiple pages and save them all individually? I need to scan in multiple documents at once but need them all to be saved individually as PDFs.”

Hello, I just tried this. It will scan all pages, when you're ready to save them to a folder, it will name all pages the ONE title you give the initial page, with a page number behind it. For example... After you scan, you save them to your desktop as "Loan Documents". All consecutive pages will be labeled "Loan Documents 1"... "Loan Documents 2", Loan Documents 3" etc.... Lets say you want to rename the 5th page (Which will be given the name "Loan Documents 5" from the original scan, you'll have to right click on it and change the name once its saved on your computer. The scanner will separate all pages and let you rename AFTER you've saved the scan to your computer. But will not let you save each scanned page under different names WHILE you are saving the scans to your computer. Hope that's not confusing... Its really not a tedious process unless you're attempting 200 pages at a time... Hope this helps

Yes, using the scan software (not from the printer touch screen), you can scan multiple pages as separate files. (Open the HP Scan Software under Start > All App > HP > Your printer model's folder. You may simply select Save As JPEG, the result will be a separate file for each page. Additionally you may select Save as PDF, Click on More and go to the Destination tab. Click the File Type drop down menu and check the box next to 'Separate page for each scanned page', then press OK and press the Scan button.)
