Then why do they have a 500hz monitor only for ps5?
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. To the best of my knowledge, while the monitor does support up to 240Hz refresh rate at 2K resolution, the PS5 has a capped refresh rate at 120Hz, so it is not possible to access any higher refresh rate without modifying or otherwise tampering with the hardware or firmware of the console. Hope this helps!

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your question on this monitor! The PS5 video output is capped at 120 Hz refresh rate. To achieve 240 fps, you would need a computer that has a dedicated graphics card connected to this monitor through DisplayPort, then have the graphics set in Windows to 240 Hz. After that, the game you're playing would need to have its settings adjusted to achieve 240 Hz.
