Andrew, thank you for your question about this HP OmniBook Ultra! After seeing your other question, you may need to exchange the laptop. Both the Wi-fi and Bluetooth interface are on the same card and it may be defective. You can check with Best Buy for an exchange or for support if you are within the return period. I am sorry about your negative experience.
