4K is a resolution standard defined by a horizontal pixel count of approximately 4,000 pixels, most commonly 3840 x 2160 for consumer displays (also known as Ultra HD or UHD) and 4096 x 2160 in professional digital cinema. This PC, which I own, is a 4k monitor with 3840 x 2160 resolution.
