Kitty, thank you for your question about a new charger for your HP Pavilion dv6000 laptop. HP discontinued that line back in 2008 and the support site does not have an entry for that series of laptop. Your best option is to replace your existing laptop and HP has a large assortment of them in Best Buy. You can team up with a store associate who will help you.
