If your printer is fairly new, it should have plug and play capability. If it's an HP printer, this computer can search for it and download the drivers from the internet, you just follow the on-screen instructions for hooking it up. Mine is Wi-fi connected so it's all wireless printing and it's seamless.

First do you driver disket that you probably got with the printer ? Or go to the website of the printer brand and download the drivers of the model of printer. But if you have the driver dockets your computer should have a cd drive on the right side. Just above your on off .
