A:AnswerA $25 external burner works fine with mine. Plenty of plug-in ports to use it with--but I agree: HP should have spent a few bucks more and included one.
A:AnswerYou'll need to contact the HP support team directly. They can advise you on which power supplies, if any can be purchased to upgrade to a higher wattage.
A:AnswerFor something like this you would have to check the output when it comes to watts and most battery backups support your average PC like this one. The biggest issue would be the amount of time you might be hoping to use it for. You would want to ask on the Best Buy associates from the department about it as it will also be affected by any other external hookups and the monitor.
A:AnswerHello. Thanks for your question. The C: drive on this HP Pavilion desktop computer is the 1 terabyte (TB) solid state drive, which is 1,000 gigabytes. You do have the option to add a solid state drive to the available M.2 slot on this computer.
A:Answer1. I do not like flimsy external CD/DVD drives that take up one of my USB ports. They are a nuisance, take up more space in my computer cabinet, and I'd have to get down on my knees and use both hands to load and unload.
2. If I must pay more money to have one, then I would rather pay to have it INSTALLED. It would be much more convenient, take up no extra space in my computer cabinet, and I could sit in my chair and handle it with one hand.
There are still many of us "more mature" people buying your computers - not just the younger folks. We still have many CD's & DVD's which we like to use on a regular basis. It would be real helpful if you would install the CD/DVD drives prior to sale. If you don't want to do it because the younger generations may not use them, then perhaps you might consider being willing to install the CD/DVD drives after purchase - for an additional fee, of course.
A:AnswerProbably but I haven't opened the case to see what motherboard is inside.
You may need a SATA data cable & a SATA Power adapter / splitter
The power supply is not real strong in this unit....
A:AnswerThank you for your question, the HP - Pavilion Desktop - AMD Ryzen 7 - 16GB Memory does not have a bay for an internal drive, but an external drive will work.
A:AnswerHello there! The exact manufacturer number for the installed RAM is not made available at this time and is not purchasable for the HP Pavilion Desktop (TP01-2234). The desktop has two DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets, supports up to PC4-25600 (DDR4-3200), and supports up to 32 GB (unbuffered) of memory. Hope this helps you in making the best purchase decision. Thank you for your question!
