“Can anyone please confirm if this laptop supports 5ghz(AC) wifi? The product specifications at HP website say it is only b/g/n but Best Buy's specs say it is also AC.”

All the other Pavilion laptops in this generation have dual band WiFi, so even though the specs on HP don't support that, I am going to say that the Best Buy description of AC wireless is correct.
