Yes there is a mouse pad below the key board and you can also set up a hand held mouse which is a lot easer. Also the computer comes in the "S" mode which prevents programs from being downloaded or not operable. I had to pay $42.60 to get that fixed on my computer which I believe was WRONG for a computer that is about 2 weeks old ! It took a tech with Geeks less than 10 minutes to fix it which equates to in excess to $255.60 per hour which I believe is outrageous ! Bill M
