You will need to purchase labels. It will accept either fanfold or roll labels, but keep in mind that there isn’t an internal label holder on this printer as is the case with the majority of thermal printers especially at this price point. So, you would definitely want to get a cheap roll holder (usually $10-$15) of get the fanfold and just place the stack on your desktop behind the printer.
