“Can I print on matte or gloss printable sticker vinyl? Or will it have bands through the colors? This is my current problem.”

In normal print mide, you will see the "bands", but in "Best" mode, the bands disappear. Prints exceptionally well on glossy photo paper un Best mode, too.

The most important part of the media information is that the paper you're printing on clarifies it is for an InkJet and not a LaserJet.
