Can you use different thickness and type of paper null

YES! This printer works well with text paper but also does a good job with medium weight cardstock. It's design has the paper sitting straight up in the back of the printer so it doesn't need to bend in the middle like most printers do. This feature sets it apart for me...who got tired of pulling bits of torn cardstock from the insides.
