Looking to replace HP6055e. Will this printer will stay connected to computer via hardwire USB? the 6055e kept reverting back wireless and doing updates while student trying to print assignments & get to class. No wireless printing allowed in dormitories, null

Thank you for the question. Yes, you'll be able to connect to the computer with a USB cable, however, the printer needs to be connected to the internet 24/7 to avail yourself of the free HP+ ink and warranty offers.
