- Answer There are different answers to the RAM expansion question. My research indicates that while HP tested the unit up to 16GB total RAM, it can actually work with up to 64GB. Please note, however, that I personally have not tested it to that amount.

If that is not satisfactory, you can return it if it is within the returns period or have Geek Squad look into the issue. HP's factory warranty is one year and Best Buy stores are authorized HP Service Centers, so they can do warranty work.

This comes with the "new" version, and you can add the "Office" version, if you want.
