There are different answers to the RAM expansion question. My research indicates that while HP tested the unit up to 16GB total RAM, it can actually work with up to 64GB. Please note, however, that I personally have not tested it to that amount.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Some people have installed up to 64GB (which I personally think is overkill, but each to his own). Usually, 16GB (i.e., another 8GB) is sufficient. And DDR4 RAM is rated in GIGAHERTZ, not MHz, so you're off by a factor of 1,000 at least. If you open the unit and copy down the numbers on the RAM, you can use this to perform a search, and you should be fine.
