• Reading the reviews one satisfied customer said that he hasn't changed the batteries in a year and he uses it 5 days a week. It comes with batteries and they are NOT rechargeable. They are standard AAA Batteries made by Energizer.

• The HP Wireless Elite Keyboard (FQ480AA) uses two AAA batteries. Unfortunately, due to the many different types of AAA batteries available, specific battery life has not been determined. The use of rechargeable batteries is not recommended for this device.
