Yes. If you have a Mac, and you connect the phone to it via USB, you can restore an iPhone backup right onto the HTC. My daughter used it to go from her iphone 5 to the HTC One M8.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If the HTC M8 is an Android based phone, then you will not be able to, as far as I know at least. Google is definitely trying to catch up to iCloud in terms of convenience, but switching between operating systems will always be problematic. Not to mention that iTunes uses its own format for music files, opposed to Android based phones which use most other formats, except for the iTunes. Catch 22 I must say.
