Yes it does. Picked one us 2 days ago at Best Buy with a new sim card. Working like a champ.
Just copy the numbers off the sim card before you put it in the phone. Go to MyVersion web page and register it.

Yes it works on Verizon. I had a micro SIM card in my old phone and had to order a SIM card cutter online to cut it down to nano size. I did not want to go to Verizon to get a new card.

Yes, this phone works great on Verizon, at least I have had great reception with it, especially coming from a Galaxy Note 3. You will need a Nano Sim card if you don't already have one from a different phone - I had to stop by the Corporate Verizon store to get one as the guys at BestBuy mobile would not give me one, but you should also be able to get one by calling Verizon Wireless.
