• I know this question is a year old, but hopefully this helps someone down the road. I just bought this specifically to output video from USB-C. It didn't work. The USB-C from the laptop outputs to a monitor and displays fine, and the HDMI from this hub works great, but no video comes out of either of the USB-C ports. The monitor powers on when you plug it in, and then displays "No Signal". The same monitor works when plugged directly into the laptop's sole USB-C port - just not this hub.
