No, it doesn't support dual monitors.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, but not with your suggested cables. I had to use mini-DP + VGA to get my dual monitor setup to work. I have not tried mini-DP + HDMI yet. All combinations of VGA, HDMI, and USB-C do not work. (I finally realized the female USB-C port is power delivery only, not for a display) I'm guessing it has to be mini-DP plus VGA/HDMI based on a KB article on the Hyper-Drive website for a similar product. It frustrates me to no end that they didn't include that information in the product description.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The description of the product clearly states: The HDMI, MiniDP and VGA ports support one 4K monitor or two 1080p displays. But I am too questioning this as I have not had any luck getting a second monitor to work with this hub.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.According to the HyperDrive website it does support dual monitors, but the PC must support MST: " On Windows devices that support USB-C for video, you can use up to two additional video outputs through extended mode with this Hub. An important note: Due to a large variety of Windows computer models and specifications, you need to make sure that USB-C port/ports on the computer support Display Alternate mode with MST. Please contact the manufacturer of your computer to make sure this is supported. MacOS devices can only connect to one extended video display, or two mirrored displays, through this Hub. This is a MacOS limitation." My Dell Inspirion does not.
