• I know this is a few months down the road, but I have the exact same problem with these headphones and the mic. Google them really quick and you'll see how big an issue the feedback is with this generation.

• I have a super loud AC unit that other mics always picked up but so far these have not. Noise cancelling is very good

• It should not on any console, if it is on PC though go through your microphone settings and turn on Noise Suppression and Noise Acoustic suppression. Fixed that issue for me but that was just an issue with my sound card the headset will not cause that issue.
