“Why does the sound not go back to the TV when I turn the headset off? My old playstation headset once turned off would automatically revert the sound back to the TV speakers. Do these not do that?”

If the USB dongle is still plugged in, the sound is likely still trying to be sent to the headphones even though they are off. My older Astro A20s did the same thing, I had to take the dongle out to get the audio to come back out the speakers!
