“Anyone have any thoughts if a SSD only is better than a combo SSD + HDD? This system looks great but has pretty much the same specs as a combo but is $500 more? Wondering if it's worth it. Thanks”

Is the combo machine a smaller SSD? This one is a 1 TB SSD. I added a 3 TB HDD for mine when I bought it and I install all the software on that to keep down wear & tear on the SSD. If you decide to add a HDD then you need to make sure you pick up SATA data cables as this machine doesn't come with extras. You can put a 2nd SSD in it if you wish and 2 HDD. The location to add the HDDs is hidden on the non-glass side, so you have to take that side off as well, but the mounting points are well thought out...
