FWIW, I also needed a BR/DVD burner and bought an external USB 3.0 16x drive for $120. It works great. Sure, it would be more convenient and less clutter to have it internal, but if you need it, it's not really a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Lots of custom pc cases that have the option to be able to install cd drives are becomming less common as most media today is online things like cloud storage, one drive, cloud, google, dropbox, and more are what most people use today, especially in pc building installing optical drives and cd readers can to a lot of people especislly gaming pc builders, ruin an asthetic look to a build, not only can they ruin a asthetic look but they can taje up a lot of space in the case, space that can be used for things like water cooling components for better cpu temperatures, or graphics cards hardrive storage areas, cable managment space another asthetic option, or fans for cooling, trust me ik the frustration, to fix your problem iwould recommend buying an external optical drive or cd reader.
