the motherboard that came with mine will only support up to 2933mhz, which will still be an upgrade to the 2666mhz that comes with it, but may not be a huge difference and might not be worth it. If you buy 3200mhz ram, it won't run past 2933mhz. I planned to upgrade my ram since the specs said it comes with a single 16gb stick, but i was pleasantly surprised it actually arrived with two 8gb sticks. Two sticks will perform better, as it will operate in dual channel mode.
