“i just got this pc and i was going to set it up and i can’t get the monitor to connect to the pc. i know that it isn’t the monitor because i tried two different ones which the second one has been connected to a different pc, this is my first pc i’m lost”

Ensure that your device is connected to the correct hdmi/display port as I encountered the same issue. Once I used a different hdmi port the display came on and synced correctly.
