“The product specifications list a 1TB HDD. I set up my PC today, yet there is no 1TB HDD in sight. When I go to the "This PC" tab, all that is listed is the 480GB SSD. How do I access the HDD? Is it external? What does it look like?”

Open the side panels and at the bottom left(non glass panel) check to make sure SATA cable is fully plugged in HDD. If so make sure the power cable is plugged in HDD. If still no fix make sure SATA cable is also plugged in motherboard(glass panel) Could be a bad HDD too.
