“Compatible with an ipod shuffle? I would like a speaker/alarm clock that is compatible with an ipod shuffle. The ipod shuffle doesn't have bluetooth & the specs of this product say the USB port is for charging. Can you also use the USB port to connect to a music device instead of the bluetooth?”

Yes I have an older ipod nano that doesn't have bluetooth that I do this with. You attach the shuffle to the back of the clock with an auxiliary cable through the headphone jack on the iPod. One comes with the clock, however it is very short. You can listen to your iPod shuffle, wake up or fall asleep to music.
