Clock, radio, bluetooth, charger and sound are all great. The speaker is actually good, clear sound. I was a sucker for the cool light on the clock and for the most part love this alarm clock... but the button design sucks. There's two rows of buttons all lined up right next to each other... I would suggest for maybe the next model you can pick another color than gray to print on the gray buttons :) lol. Other than that, I love this alarm clock.

Bought this product because I wanted a wireless radio that I could play music from my iPhone. Owned the previous model but it malfunctioned shortly after purchasing it.

Easy to set up. Multiple alarm tones that starts off soft and gradually get louder. Pleasant sounds that won't startle. It changes color like a nightlight. Pairs easily to Bluetooth for wake options or playing music. Easy to read directions. Passed the hip enough to be in my room teen test.

After quite the long & unnecessary "alarm clock hunt" I decided this one for it's modern look & COLOR CHANGE?! I was tired of my cheap, plain old alarm clock. I missed waking up to music, especially during the Holiday season. I talked with the sales clerk at my Best Buy, told him what I wanted. He suggested several options, including the iHome. I was sold. Not only do I get music, it also changes COLOR! It's functional and "fun"! I enjoy it every morning and I love waking to Holiday music.

Great Piece but need some illumination a round the bottons so you can see it at night.is hard to change the stations or lower the volume at night with out messing it up.

I bought this to replace an old "boombox" in my bathroom. All I wanted was a simple radio that I could listen to without having to fumble with my phone. My daughter wanted a bluetooth speaker. We both got what we wanted with this devise. I had no trouble connecting my android phone to this via bluetooth( I just tried it to see how it worked.) My daughter could not get her iPhone or iPod to connect. I'm sure with a little more patience we will get it. She connects with the supplied cable. The changing colors are cool and makes for a nice night light. Sound is better than I expected for a one speaker radio. Overall very happy with this purchase!

So far the radio has been working as advertised. The volume setting goes up to 40. This is not a boombox so dont expect much. My kids listen to it at 15-20 setting. Sounds good but once you get in the 35-40 range you are really working the speaker and it does not sound as good. The lights are fun for the kids and it is pretty easy for them to use.

I had not considered the device when I went to the store, but I am glad I changed my mind. The display is large and shows the time as well as the Bluetooth status and active alarms. I like the two alarm feature. I can set one alarm for me and the other as a backup alarm for when my wife keeps cancelling her alarm clock. The sound functions include Bluetooth and USB streaming, radio and speakerphone. The sound selection modes are easy to set and the device can charge your phone while it's plugged into the USB port. The color feature makes for a cute little light. Color can be set to off or a specific color. The light can also glow colors as it cycles through the spectrum. The light intensity can be adjusted to be very bright or dim. For those who like night lights, this is perfect. I don't know what else I can say other that I like it.

I was hesitant about getting this product. However, when i decided to take it home. HUGE HIT.. fell in love with it, it has many light settings, from still color, to ever changing either by gradually changing through the entire rainbow color range, or a static one of your preference, or dancing light.. its speaker is very clear and loud even at top volume. Easy to sync with phone, and you can answer the phone from there if in bed and dont want to grab phone.. also has radio, alarm settings, and it just looks great in my night stand. Go get yours as you won't be dissapointed!

Absolutely amazing! I can charge my phone, listen to my favorite FM radio station, enjoy the show of colors which has various modes, and check the time when ever I need. Volume is adjustable and this product is an alarm like advertised! Worth the money. Now the speaker isn’t high quality but then again this is meant to be a alarm this speaker is more of a bonus.

the colors and the way it changes them is awesome. also it is very very loud, which is great for people, like me, who tend not to hear their alarms in the morning. and comes with backup battery reservoir, so in case of blackout it will work only negatives: very inconvenient to set alarm time, and the bluetooth option needs to be manually connected everytime, instead of automatically connecting when phone is within reach the buttons are not self-explanatory would be absolutely perfect alarm thingy if it was a tad more techie

The dial to set the alarm time on my alarm clock simply wore out after years and years of use and I was left with no alternative but to hunt for a new alarm. I had no idea how difficult this would be. I'm an exceptionally sound sleeper and I need an alarm that is VERY loud. I purchased lots of alarms, clock radios, wake-up systems - all to no avail. I started out thinking I could find what I really wanted: dual alarms, 2 - 5 - 7 day settings, charger for my phone and a LOUD alarm. I thought for sure that Sony would be loud enough. Nope! I thought for sure that a very high priced alarm would do it. Nope again! I purchased and returned to various stores 7 different alarms that store testing suggested might be loud enough. Nothing was working. I gave up on finding a single alarm that would wake me up. I set up a system of 5 alarms going off at the same time. That did the trick. But the time I get up changes several times during a week, and it was just so cumbersome to keep changing the wakeup time on 5 clocks when all I wanted to do was drop into bed. I yearned for just one really loud alarm clock. Then I found this iHome clock radio It was on sale, probably because it does this really weird color change. The entire clock radio, shaped in a sphere, fades into one color after another, green, blue, pink, orange, red, etc.... Maybe a young teenager would like it. I do not. However. DO NOT BE PUT OFF BY THE COLORS! You can change that! As it fades from one color to another, you can choose and set whichever color you want to be the only color it will be. Actually, I choose BLACK!!!!! So my clock looks very plain and traditional. And I was able to get rid of all the individual alarm clocks I had to set to wake up. I just blast the radio on this iHome clockradio and I'm up! The volume is wonderful. It has all the features I originally wanted plus a few extra. Check this out. It's a great alarm clock. It's really LOUD!

This alarm clock was one of the best gifts I got my boys for Christmas. You are able to program two different alarm times, which is great for me because one child has to get up earlier than the other. I no longer have to wake up an hour early just to get my oldest up for school. This clock also serves as a nightlight for my youngest. The boys also love how they can listen to their music from their iPod and IPhone by using the clock's bluetooth.

I thought I was the only person on the planet that didn't use their cellphone as an alarm clock. I just don't trust it. Too many things can go wrong leading to me not being up when I need to be. I am a very sound sleeper. I go to bed late and work swing shifts. When I have to wake up at 5:00AM I need something LOUD because I am in a deep sleep at that time and could easily sleep right through a lot of alarms. This one I use on 30 and it's plenty loud. It can go up to 40. I love the lights and how it changes colors. You can dim them all the way down to where they shut off, however this dims the time too. It has two alarms so if you and your spouse/signifigant other have to be up at different times you can set both. You can wake up to music from basically any device you might have. Older devices that aren't bluetooth compatible you have to plug in with an auxiliary jack. It charges almost anything with a USB cord which is an awesome feature. The sound is decent but it's not as good as JBL, Beats or Bose. It's an alarm clock though so most people don't spend a lot of time listening to it. It was definitely not anywhere near bad enough to be a deal breaker. It has a sleep timer so if you want to fall asleep listening to music you can as well. All in all it was a good purchase and I recommend it.

I returned a larger ihome docking station for this one & happy I did. It's perfect size, small enough to fit on your bedside table yet big enough to see. The fading colors are a nice extra, relaxing & I love that you can adjust the brightness. The sound is fantastic & is loud enough to hear throughout my apt without bursting my eardrums like the larger version. You can preset up to 6 of your favorite radio stations although to go through your stations you have to hit the preset button twice which is unusual. The only reason I rated it a 4 instead of a 5 is because I think there's too many buttons to push to complete a function. I had to pull out my instruction book a few times the first week! Otherwise I love it!

This is my second iHome clock radio. I'm very sensitive to light at night. Great to be able to dim the display. Sound quality decent.

Purchased for my 8 year old son. He wanted a nightlight and this is perfect! It is really bright but can dim down so that is really does not give off much light but still looks cool. Buttons my 8 year old can understand so it’s very user friendly. The speaker sound good for being so compact.
