Q: How do you turn off the alarm
A: The alarm can be turned off temporarily with the Snooze button, until the next day with the Power/Alarm Reset button, or cancelled completely by pressing the Alarm button twice.
Q: Is the front display dimable?
A: Yes, 8 different levels of brightness from very bright to totally off. The lowest setting is quite low. Nice feature.

A: Sound is descent for a small monaural speaker. Better than your phone but if you want even better sound go with something with two speakers. It was perfect for the bathroom/shower where space is limited and doubles as a night light. Perfect for what we wanted.
