Make sure you are not using a protective case. If you are using a protective case please try docking the device without the case. If the problem persists please reset the unit and iPhone 1. Remove the backup batteries from the unit (if applicable). 2. Unplug the unit from its power source (AC power adapter). 3. Wait 20 minutes. 4. Plug the unit into a power source (without batteries). 5. Reset the iPhone. How to reset the iPhone iPHONE 6 and below - Press and hold “Home” button below the screen and “Power” button on the right side of your iPhone together until you see the Apple logo appears on the screen, release both buttons. iPHONE 7 - Press and hold “Power” and “Volume Down” buttons together until you see the Apple logo appears on the screen, release both buttons. iPHONE 8 / iPHONE 10(X) 1. Press and quickly release the “Volume Up” button. 2. Press and quickly release the “Volume Down” button. 3. Press and hold the “Power” button on right side until the Apple logo appears on the screen, release both buttons. If normal operation is restored, insert "new" batteries into the iHome unit.
