- Answer An Apple M1 chip running 8 core CPU, there are two USB 4 thunderbolt ports and two USB 3 ports which are located on the lower right on the back of the monitor housing, fairly accessible if there is room to rotate the unit on the work surface and with an accessory dock such as " j5create products " ,which I added , you can achieve more connections. I found the mouse to small for my hands so I got the magic track pad
  I would recommend:
  - j5create - USB-C Multi-Adapter - HDMI/Ethernet/USB 3.1 HUB/PD 3.0 - Champagne Metallic

- Answer No. All M1 iMac's don't have a memory card reader. You will need to purchase a USB-C extension that has a memory card reader.

- Answer Apple went very thin with this computer. There wasn't enough real estate to add an internal optical disk. You can add an external via Thunderbolt or Bluetooth.
