QuestionAre the Geek Squad Autotech's licensed mechanics? or do they have any special certifications for installations?

- Answer They have certifications but my advice is to steer far away from them and pay the extra money for another shop. All they do is try to take shortcuts and I had to fix their work because they wanted shortcuts and messed up the wiring (Literally did the #1 do not do with wiring- Wired RCA zip tied to Power wire which caused noise interference, their grounds were not professionally installed, they nicked a ground wire in a different car I had work done, they just want to get your money and get it done with the most amount of shortcuts possible.

QuestionI purchased a CarPlay radio with free installation on a 2015 Honda Accord that has double din I also wanted to keep my original features...no one can confirm to me weather I need additional parts and how much it will be all together will I need extra part

- Answer Do not go qith best buy. They lied to me and told me one thing. Then continued to change and modify and ultimately cost me nearly 800 for the stereo installation. Stereo purchased came with "free install" stereo was 250 but with all the extra fees it was almost 800. Never again buying from Best Buy.

- Answer Absolutely, it’s called a double din floating screen system. I purchased Alpine’s version called the Halo 9” (ILX-F509) it also comes in a 11” touch screen version too. (ILX-F511)
