I purchased a new stereo and have an install date with Geek Squad to install it at my local Best Buy. I was wondering if I needed to pick the new stereo up from the store prior to the install as the app is telling me it is ready for pickup. null

I had an appointment after the pick up date and it was all there waiting for me.If you haven't made the appointment yet you can mention it to them and they will take care of it.

I didn't have to. Just came in a little earlier then the appointment with an ID and picked up the radio and went to the installation dept with it. As long as the installation date is soon, I don't think you will need to pick it up first, but if the installation date is far away you might want to pick it up because i'm not sure how long the store will hold your purchase before canceling it.
