“What is the distance from monitor to screen? I am looking for a monitor that I can see my elderly mom who lives alone; we live a little over a quarter mile away and want to be able to give her her space yet keep an eye on her. Suggestions?”

I don’t know if this would be your best choice. I used it initially for my elderly Mom. It would go in and out and tell me it was out of range. She had a big house with adobe walls.
