Yes, you can remove the turntable. This microwave oven must be placed on a flat surface. For correct operation, the oven must have sufficient air flow. Allow 8 in. (20 cm) of space above the oven, 4 in. (10 cm) at back and 2 in. (5 cm) at both sides. Do not cover or block any openings on the appliance. The appliance shall be only used on a countertop over 3 feet (91.4 cm) above the floor. Try the Over-the-Range Microwave Model: NS-OTR16SS9, that model includes mounting hardware.
