no interior light but there is a light blue on the bottom front with control for cooling level. it is so quit cooled fast and when I say quit I hear nothing there is ice forming at hinges where the lid meets the seal (inside) I have had it a month. there's only one shelf 8 to 10 ins wide. above the compressor and one moveable basket 8 to 10 ins wide same deep for the price nothing I looked at came close. I would have liked an upright but nothing close to this volume and price
