I’m really impressed with this deep chest freezer. It has tons of space without taking up too much room, and the inside layout makes it easy to keep everything organized. It cools quickly, stays consistently cold, and runs super quietly — I barely notice it’s on. The build quality feels solid, and the lid opens and closes smoothly. I love that it comes with removable baskets, which makes grabbing frequently used items so much easier. It’s perfect for bulk groceries, meal prep, or extra storage during busy seasons. My wife and I had been in the market for a chest freezer for quite some time. We reviewed shapes and sizes and came to the conclusion this Insignia 10.2 cubic foot chest freezer was the right fit for us based on size and price. Easily the best bang for your buck. We've had the chezt feeezer for almost 2 months now and have it full. Everything is fully frozen with no freezer burn. Seems to be a consistent temperatore throughout. Plenty of space and has been dependable thus far. If you need room but don't want to spend big, this is a great option around $300 when on sale.

I have a 7.0 cu ft freezer but needed more room. So I decided to purchase this 10.2 cu ft freezer and it was exactly what I was looking for... Plenty of space!! Its just about double the size of my smaller freezer!

This freezer is great quality, and the perfect size. Very affordable for the size freezer it is. When purchasing this freezer it was easy and simple. However when taking the freezer home and unboxing it was dented in multiple places. Still great quality and lightweight for the size. Absolutely love the size of this deep freezer.

I just love it, it have a lot of space. It works perfectly, no loud noises at night. So far is the best chest freezer I could have and for a great price. The curbside pickup it was very helpful and easy.

I purchased this Insignia chest freezer for my restaurant after our old one stopped working. It’s been very useful for storing meat and has worked reliably so far. The price is reasonable and it cools efficiently. My only suggestion is to slightly increase the width by 2–3 inches so that standard meat boxes can fit directly inside. This small change would really benefit small business owners like me. Other than that, I’m happy with the product and would definitely recommend it!

Ooooh talk about spacious! The room in the is great for those who are into organization you have a plank canvas. I’m using to stash Breast milk as well and the top rack is perfect! Fits if you live in an apartment in the patio so convenient.

This is a first time purchasing a freezer from Best Buy. My old garage freezer stop working so, being a family of 6, I had to replace my old one. I searched around and couldn’t find a good deal or if it was reasonably priced the freezer itself was too small. Not the issue with this freezer. I bought this on sale, even if it wasn't I would still buy it. I’ve always had positive reviews for all Insignia products, to me you can’t go wrong. This freezer has a lot of room no matter how much you pack it, as you can see in my pictures it’s packed however, there’s still more room to add more. I apologize for the long review but, I highly recommend it. Please note it is long in length, so make sure you have enough room and the positive part it doesn’t take long to get cold/freeze.

I had my first deep freezer for 16 years & actually still have it. The screws on the top came out, so I decided to buy a new one. The brand (Woods) was no longer available, but since I purchased it at Best Buy, I figured I’d buy my new one from here as well. So far, I absolutely love this new one. It’s much larger than my old one & it seems to freeze very well. I’m very satisfied with my purchase. I’ve had it since 9/1/19. I am hoping this one last just as long as my old one, if not longer. I also love the look of this deep freezer. My sister saw mines & bought one as well. She seem to love hers just as much as I love mines. By the way, she had our childhood deep freezer & only bought this one because that one finally stopped working. It was at least 30 years old though. Purchased this chest freezer a month ago to store meats and all sorts of frozen foods for my family of six and it is exactly what I needed. Doesn’t take up too much space in my basement. Highly recommend! Note: I haven’t had any issues with frost buildup to the point where I have to unplug it to let it thaw out. Perhaps it helps that I have a dehumidifier running all the time in my basement.

Excellent quality for the price. It just works. Purchased almost a year ago now. Works perfectly in a hot garage in summer and below freezing garage in winter. Would recommend for a budget friendly option. There isn't much icing and if icing does occur it's very easy to remove. With the right maintenance, this bad boy should last a few decades.

Arrived from Best Buy delivery dented on the side, which I did not notice the hole in the box until I unboxed it, but appears to work fine. Was too much hassle to return and get an undamaged one even though Best Buy was willing to exchange it and even deliver the new one and pick up the damaged one. Figured it was going in the garage so as long as it worked it wasn’t worth taking the day off work so I could wait for the delivery and replacement. It was disappointing but what can you say. The representative that answer the phone did give me a discount, I believe 10%, on the freezer, so that was good. The freezer is nice sized and does seem to work really good, so it seems like a good freezer.

With grocery prices constantly on the rise it was time to get a means to preserve some. I wasn't familiar with the Insignia brand so did diligent research and determined that this freezer is manufactured by Haier, the parent company of many prestigious brands like Fisher & Paykel and GE. The option of a second basket would be nice but you can purchase them on line. In short it is an excellent value and a good size.

So far so good. We ordered this chest freezer because our old one that we’ve had for 15 years stopped working. It is a little bigger than the previous one, but it doesn’t take up much space. It works well and I really liked that BestBuy hauled the old one for free!

This chest freezer stores everything I had trouble storing my my side-by-side fridge freezers. I have two: one in my kitchen and one in my garage. I frequently entertain, and also like to save money by purchasing meat on sale, vacuum sealing it, and freezing it. I have almost emptied my two side-by-side fridge freezers, bought more to add to the chest, and STILL haven't filled it 1/3 of the way. With milk crates, it stays super organized. I don't know how I lived without it!

This was a like new deep freezer. We arrived at the warehouse to pick it up. The person was dragging the deep freezer from the back to our truck. I asked if it had wheels on it. Which he lied. Overall, the deep freeze hasn’t had any issues. Still going strong.

Biggest decision we went with was getting a larger size. So glad we did. this thing has so much room. we'll be ready for deer season this year.

This is a replacement of the exact freezer I destroyed trying to make it into a keezer. I went thru the Freon lines and ruined my original one. This second replacement one I was well aware of the lines and avoided hitting them to drill my holes for my taps and gas lines. But to get back to the review, the first place I went to go buy the new freezer was BB and was so happy with the first insignia freezer that I wanted the same freezer without a doubt. Great freezer despite my creations. Wonderful freezer. Good price and great value.

Glad I went with the bigger size because I have already filled it! Put it in the basement rather than the garage to avoid power outages. Seems to work well so far. Deliverers even brought it down there so that was helpful.
