“Is it normal when you open freezer and then close it back that you hear air hissing and the door locks until hissing stops? Just wondering!!”

• Personally, I haven't had that problem. My freezer is pretty much flawless. I set the temperature control to about 6 1/2 or little bit over half and it runs efficiently hardly ever running the compressor. Maybe you should check your temperature settings. I hope this helps....
