This answer about restarting the freezer is incorrect. If the power goes out and comes back on before the high side and low side equalize the freezer will nor restart after the power comes on. This process takes 3 to 5 minutes You must physically unplug the unit for 3 to 5 minutes after the power comes on then plug it back in. A very poorly engineered system. have had this freezer for 4 days and have lost all the contents due to this system.
