Would like to buy this freezer for our basement, but we have carpet. Will I need to place patio blocks over the carpet, just concerned on how much heat the unit will produce, like is it a fire hazard ? null

We also have carpet in our basement. The vent for the freezer is on the right side as you face the open lid. Do not block the vent.

Place your freezer on a floor that is strong enough to support the freezer when it is fully loaded. Allow six inches (15 cm) of space between the back and sides of the freezer and any surrounding walls to allow for proper air ventilation. Adjust the feet to keep the freezer level.
