I guess these type of appliances need air to cool down, The room should have exhaust system or good ventilation. I kept one little refrigerator in garage. I have no issues with that since I have plenty ventilation in garage.

It is rated for use up to 10 degrees ambient temperature.

'If your garage is warmer than this, you are exceeding its limits.

If your garage is below this temp, you have a defective unit and should request warranty service.
