A:AnswerNo, none of our freezers are garage ready. Please check the considerations below before selecting a location for your freezer:
- This freezer is designed to be free standing only, and should not be recessed or built-in.
- Place your freezer on a floor that is strong enough to support the freezer when it is fully loaded.
- Allow six inches (15 cm) of space between the back and sides of the freezer and any surrounding walls to allow for proper air ventilation.
- Adjust the feet to keep the freezer level.
- Locate the freezer away from direct sunlight and sources of heat, such as a stove, heater, or radiator. Direct sunlight may affect the acrylic coating and heat sources may increase electrical consumption. Extremely cold temperatures may also prevent the freezer from
performing properly.
- Avoid locating the freezer in moist areas.

A:AnswerYes, this unit has a Drain Plug. During defrosting the ice melts into the cabinet, so remove the drain plug on the inside of the freezer, then place a shallow pan under the drain outlet so the defrost water can drain. Check the pan occasionally so that the water does not overflow.

A:AnswerMeasure the inside area of your Armada and compare with listed freezer measurements
It was worth the delivery charge as they put the freezer right where you want it
Didn’t have to have someone come help me unload it etc etc
A:AnswerI use it for this every day for a year and love it. I use a timer to run at night to keep it cold and then unplug it every day when I get it and reset the timer depending on how hot out it is and what temp I want it at the next day! If you have any more questions just reach out to my on IG. PFSGOLF. My name is Greg!
A:AnswerI have only had this freezer a short time but the way it looks for frost inside , it may only be once a year for self defrost, depending on conditions where Freezer is Placed and How often you open it. . To defrost just remove items from freezer and place in some coolers temporarily, then unplug freezer and let defrost, and then drain any water from Freezer through the drain plug. Wipe Dry and plug back in. wait about an hour and replace items back in Fridge.
A:AnswerI built a bar top that weighs about 80# that sit on top of the freezer. It is evenly distributed with a 3/4" particle board base. No problems with that much weight.
A:AnswerThe drain hole are usually found within the freezer at the bottom back. Turn the temperature control to Off and unplug the freezer. For draining, place a tray beneath the outer drain plug. Unscrew and remove the drain plug. This will let the water flow out in the tray.
A:AnswerHi Lanyssa,
A small 5 cubic foot chest freezer needs 850 watts to start, and 100 watts to run. A 2000-watt generator is up to the task to power this size of a chest freezer. A:AnswerI plugged my Freezer in straight away and left to freeze down for 24hrs, at the Max setting.
I left it at the Max setting and filled up with mainly non frozen food, the following day.
Checked the day after that, circa 12 hrs later and everything was frozen and temp below zero.
The instructions say that all freezers should be left to stand for a few hours to settle before plugging in, so best practice would be to do that, however i was in a rush and all seems to be ok.
A:AnswerTo my knowledge yes, but not really a problem, we open ours once or twice a day, and not much frost build up. Don't leave it open very long, that's when it builds up frost.
A:AnswerThe manufacturer warranty on this freezer is a limited one year warranty. If you ever have issues with the unit please contact our call center at 1-877-467-4289 any day from 8 am to 9 pm CST. All you need to have is the receipt, which will tell when and where you bought it and validate the warranty.
A:AnswerFrom the back bottom edge to the top of the door while its open measures 57" my unit is on bricks in my garage so u may need to add a 1" or so to accommodate the adjustable feet it has.... hope thats helps
A:AnswerThe mfg will probably instruct you to not use any extension cords. But I have used them with no problem PROVIDED you use no less than a 14 gauge rated extension cord, 12 would be best but most outlets in homes wire 14 gauge on a 15 amp circuit breaker so you make the call.
