“I have a zoom h1n recorder and Rode's video micro short shoot gun mic. The is a short cable provided but I need a much longer cable. Rode's gets power drawn from the recorder. Will this length provide the power and transfer the audio signal across?”

• Follow up - I understand the audio signal will transfer. My question is can it pass power from the recorder to the Rode's mic so it works. I am mostly concerned about the length as energy can fall off over distance.
