Do you have to remove your case (Lifeproof) to use? null

Wireless chargers use a light magnetic field that cycles power. it should penetrate just about any plastic case. we use ours thru an otterbox case

I was little hesitant to buy a wireless charger for my iPhone Xs. Because, I thought I would have to remove the protective cell phone case every time! But this charger works fine even with a cell phone protective cover (Modal™ - Case for Apple® iPhone® X and XS - Black) on my phone. Don't have to remove the case. But it depends on the thickness of the case.

If the case is 3 mm thick, it should work.
