Honestly, I would not…but they say that it is ok but not for a long period of time…but I don’t know what that long period of time means…maybe several hours?

After moving on its side, it is suggested one let it stand upright for one hour before plugging it in, to let the cooling agents settle. Have no idea if this is factual or not, but we followed this advice. The refrigerator is working fine.
